am a
photographer and filmmaker-y person living in the greater Puget Sound area.
I like taking pictures and I'm reasonably good at it.
Photography-wise, I've worked for a couple of studios and am now a freelancer. I enjoy a wide variety of photographic styles and genres, including still life, product, portraiture, and I prefer to work with available light. I'm available for work anywhere.
Filmmaking-wise, I've worked as production assistant, camera assistant, assistant editor and digital media manager (as well as working on my own as-yet-incomplete film as "the filmmaker"--camera, directing, writing, editing, etc.) and I'm available for work anywhere, especially around the Pacific Northwest.
Personal-wise, I live in Everett, Washington with my girlfriend Betsy, our two cats and a mess of gerbils. I watch a lot of movies, read a lot of books and listen to a lot of records. I'm a pretty good cook, too.
